Inkform I Descent of the Eagle
In my sculptural work, I delve into the interplay between presence and absence, yin and yang, reflection and sedimentation, and the contrasts between illusion and reality, fragility and strength. These dualities are not just aesthetic choices but metaphors for the tension and transformation inherent in life itself.
Rather than merely shaping materials, I seek to respond to impermanence and emotional flux, letting each form emerge through a process that balances intention with spontaneity—much like the unpredictability of ink splashing across paper.
Through the theme of rebirth and reassembly, I aim to awaken the viewer’s imagination. The work becomes a catalyst—an open space where personal narratives can unfold. The contrasts within each piece serve as a conduit between the form and the viewer’s psyche, opening up a dialogue that transcends the visual and invites deeper introspection.
