Gold Prize

A well-crafted and meaningful educational design project with strong interactivity and cultural depth, though it could benefit from a more distinctive visual identity to stand out globally.

- World Front Design Award Review

Cat-in-the-box?!

This project presents a thoughtful and well-executed integration of communication design, education, and cultural storytelling, successfully transforming local identity into an engaging and accessible learning experience for children; the use of tactile materials, modular packaging, and interactive formats such as pop-up books and assemble-able components creates a strong sense of participation, effectively bridging design and pedagogy. The visual language is warm, cohesive, and age-appropriate, with a clear narrative structure that guides users through landscape, ecology, and cultural themes in an intuitive way, while the craftsmanship and material choices reinforce both sustainability and sensory engagement. The collaboration with a local school adds authenticity and social value, strengthening the project’s impact beyond aesthetics. However, while the project is highly refined and meaningful, its visual and formal approach remains relatively safe and familiar within the realm of educational design, and introducing a more distinctive graphic language or a stronger conceptual twist could further elevate its uniqueness and memorability at an international level.
